More About Jenni Liang

 I'm a Chinese-American who was born and raised in Boston. I grew up working in restaurants to help out my family which was were my love for the kitchen started. Throughout high school I worked at several dessert shops that made me fall in love with the pastry industry.

I spent a semester studying abroad in Japan which is where a lot of my inspiration comes from and because of that, I can speak Japanese (although I wouldn't say I'm fluent yet, but I'm working on it). After graduation I had the amazing opportunity to work and train under Chef Dmitriy Shurygin and without him, I don't think I would have gained the skills, passion or vision I currently have.


Besides my full time job, I spend almost all my time baking, traveling and daydreaming about my next cake design.
